Coaches
Jennifer Davis - Life and Career Coach with a special focus on children,
teenagers, and adults who work with them. I am a graduate of Coach University.
My undergraduate degree
is from Boston College, with a double major in Psychology and Business Administration.
I believe that every human being has unlimited potential and the capability to create
the life that they want. As children, we have endless creative energy and a strong sense
of self that can be forgotten during our teen years when peer pressure gets greater,
choices become more difficult, etc. As a coach, I partner with teens to regain that
energy and self confidence so together we can prepare for the years ahead.
Contact Jennifer for more information.

Guest Speaker October 18, 2001 Sydney Sauber, M.Ed,. Ed. S.
Anger and Frustration can be more devastating to a special needs family than the special need
itself. Sydney Sauber has been in the field of education for 17 years. Currently she is writing
a book about special education reform. She is the proprietor of Synergy Solutions Educational
Consulting which provides educational advocacy, and consultation services to families and young
people dealing with issues related to IEP's and 504 Plans. She, herself, has a history of ADHD,
verbal and non-verbal learning differences. She will discuss Anger Management in Special
Needs Families, and will cover managing what to say or not to say. The purpose of this
interactive workshop is to support special needs families in finding alternative methods
for dealing with anger management challenges within the family. Other topics covered
will include: anger vs. frustration, escalating vs. deescalating responses, and coping
strategies for assisting children in taking responsibility for their behaviors.
